Did you know that the turnover of farms from one generation to the next is at its highest in Canadian history right now? Trying to find enough young people to replace the population of aging farmers is going to be a major challenge that holds our basic needs for survival in its success. Young people need help more than ever now to get the skills they need to support the health of this country and its people.

You can help us by:
√ Purchasing your produce from us every week at the market
√ Volunteering any amount of time with us at the farm or the market
√ Donating any amount of money or useful equipment to our farm
√ Advocating to your friends and family that they choose the young farmers to support

Talk to the people that are growing your food. Ask them about how they grow and keep their land. Inquire about their long term goals and who might run their farm when they no longer can. And most importantly, ask the young people you know how they see the future of their food. It is so important that we spread these seeds of thought to our next generation and to bring farmers and real food back to the lives of everyone.
